Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 2 April - BLURB

Greetings all and welcome to the latest newsletter for Let's Do Trivia at The Wheel House.  Sadly the game was cancelled last week.  A combination of weather, spring break and lack of reservations led to the house staff cancelling at the last moment.

Let's help keep this rolling and avoid future missed games.  In my years hosting games in this area, I can say that spring weather in the waterfront communities usually thins the crowds.  Let's help out this coming week by being sure to make reservations as early as you can manage.  Even if you have the head count incorrect, just giving The Wheelhouse confidence that there will be teams will go a long way to ensuring we have a game!

This coming week first prize will be $50 due to the house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal finishing second place two weeks ago.

Earn an extra $10 if you win first prize AND at least one member of your team arrives before 6pm.

For a 3-point bonus next week, submit a smiley face emoji in your answer for round two question one.

Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 15 May 2025

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Completely unplanned, the Moon theme fit as last Thursday was our first time of the season with the tent taken down. We had great weather for it. The crowd was light-ish with 27 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $40 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Entering the final question , Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held the top spot with 69 (nice) points. Wino Combo were right behind them with 67 points. ...
