Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 5 March 2026

Happy new week Trivia fans,

One sad housekeeping note to start: next Thursday will be my final week hosting trivia at the Wheelhouse. It's been a blast running the game and watching the rivalries, comebacks, and wild guesses play out week after week. If you've been meaning to come out, next week is a good one to make it happen. 

Let's take a look back at last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse. We had 7 teams in the house battling it out for bragging rights, $80 Wheelhouse cash, and the eternal glory that comes with knowing obscure facts faster than the people sitting next to you.

The first half of the game was pretty competitive across the board. Some teams came out of the gate strong while others took a round or two to warm up. By the time we reached halftime, things were tight at the top.

For a bonus 3 points on round 2 question 1, draw a pot of gold.

After halftime, Why So Serious held the lead with 38 points.
In second place was Wino Combo with 32 points.
Right behind them was Wheel Deal Sex Appeal with 26 points, tied closely with Wild Wicked Women and My Personal Favorites, both also sitting on 26 points. Raven Lunatics weren't far behind either with 25 points, proving the second half was still anyone's game.

And then… the second half happened.

A few teams started stacking points quickly while others ran into some trivia buzzsaws. As we headed into the final question the leaderboard had completely reshuffled. Why So Serious still sat at the top with 64 points, but Wino Combo and Raven Lunatics were lurking close enough to make things interesting depending on wagers.

When the dust settled after the final question, Why So Serious held onto the lead and secured the win. Wino Combo made a strong late push to grab second place, while My Personal Favorites rounded out the top three.

Here are the final standings from the night:

7th: Spaceballs the Trivia
6th: Wild Wicked Women
5th: Wheel Deal Sex Appeal
4th: Raven Lunatics
3rd: My Personal Favorites
2nd: Wino Combo
1st: Why So Serious

Next week the stakes return to $40 Wheelhouse cash for first place and $10 for second place.

Remember a couple ways to give your team an edge:

  • Win first place AND have at least one teammate arrive before 6pm to earn an extra $10.

  • Listen to the setlist between 6:00 and 6:30pm for a clue that will help you answer a Round 1 question

Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 15 May 2025

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Completely unplanned, the Moon theme fit as last Thursday was our first time of the season with the tent taken down. We had great weather for it. The crowd was light-ish with 27 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $40 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Entering the final question , Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held the top spot with 69 (nice) points. Wino Combo were right behind them with 67 points. ...
