Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 26 March - BLURB

Greetings and thank you all for the warm welcome this past week!  It felt good to be back on the mic at The Wheel House and you are the reason why!

Eight teams were in the house battling it out for the prize and the house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal was looking to retain the cash as they often do with a win.  Things were not looking so good for them at the end of the first half though sitting in fourth place behind Sam in first place, Wino Combo in second and Why So Serious in third.

Second half of play saw Why So Serious surge into the lead followed by Sam in second and Wino Combo and My Personal Favorites tied for third.

As usual betting strategy is almost as important as getting the final correct.  Only one time nailed the final and fittingly finished first for it.  Congratulations to Sam for the win.  The house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal bet zero on the final and due to this they took second prize.  That's good news for most of you as the $10 second prize rolls over to next week for a $50 first prize.  I hope to see you there!

Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 15 May 2025

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Completely unplanned, the Moon theme fit as last Thursday was our first time of the season with the tent taken down. We had great weather for it. The crowd was light-ish with 27 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $40 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Entering the final question , Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held the top spot with 69 (nice) points. Wino Combo were right behind them with 67 points. ...
