Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 16 October 2025

Hey Wheel House Trivia friends,

Quick update about last week's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse. 37 players on 9 teams were playing for the top prize of $40 Wheel House cash. We had a couple new teams, Suck It Trebek and Obipapanobi, joining us and learning the ways of Trivia. My Personal Favorites were back after a couple weeks away. 

We had many questions centered around Shepherds. How about with that, for a 3-point bonus on round 2 question 1, draw a sheep. After a few weeks of finishing outside the top spots, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal finished in first place. Next closest to them in second place was Dicken's Cider. This week, the top prize will be $80 WheelHouse cash and a second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash.

Win first place AND at least one member of your team arrives before 6pm, earn an extra $10. Listen to the setlist between 6pm and 6:30pm for an answer to a question in round 1. The Music Bonus original song was played last Thursday night at some point during our match...

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Entering the final question , Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held the top spot with 69 (nice) points. Wino Combo were right behind them with 67 points. ...

Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
