Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 11 September 2025

Happy new week Trivia fans,

Let's take a look back at last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse. After two weeks away from each other, I was happy to be back with 44 players on 9 teams all looking to win the top prize of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second place.

There was a couple little themes to the different rounds questions in the game. Round 1 had questions staying in the California region. Round 3 dealt with "Spoons". Rounds 5, 6, and the Final questions asked you about different "Associations". The first half of the game was an easier one for most teams. When we got to the halftime question, some teams started to see bumps in the road. Only two teams earned at least 6 points and no team earned the maximum possible 8 points. After halftime, Why So Serious led with 39 points. Second place was Wheel Deal Sex Appeal with 38 points. Raven Lunatics sat in third place with 35 points.

For a 3-point bonus on round 2 question 1, draw a soccer ball.

The second half was VERY difficult. Round 4 was particularly difficult for all teams. Going into the final question Z-Team led the pack with 69 nice points. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal and Raven Lunatics were tied for second place with 66 points each. My Personal Favorites were behind them with 61 points.  Only one team answered the final question correctly, but they wagered 0 points. That didn't matter because that team was our leading team before the final question, Z-Team. They just wanted to keep that score...😉 Finishing in second place was Raven Lunatics. This week, the top prize will be $40 WheelHouse cash and a second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash.

Win first place AND at least one member of your team arrives before 6pm, earn an extra $10. Listen to the setlist between 6pm and 6:30pm for an answer to a question in round 1. The Music Bonus original song was played last Thursday night at some point during our match...

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
