Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 7 August 2025

Hello all Trivia teams,

Sorry about the lack of Blurbs the past two weeks. I forgot to do one and then Allen was going to cover for me the following week but that game was cancelled so he didn't do one either. So let's get back on track and do a recap of last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse. 31 players on 9 teams joined us on a beautiful evening. All teams were aiming for the top prize of $40 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second place.

The first half of the match asked many questions relating to Hills. That could have been physical hills, TV shows with hills, or songs with hills. In fact, four questions involved songs with hills in the title and then for our halftime question, I wanted you to name the artists that sang those songs. Coming out of halftime, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal led with 42 points. In second place was Dicken's Cider with 38 points. Brew Rogues were  in third place with 36 points. 

For a 3-point bonus on round 2 question 1, draw a hill.

Per usual, harder second half questions awaited the group. Before the final question, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held their lead with 74 points. Brew Rogues were in second place with 70 points. As has been the case for a few weeks now, the final question is so difficult that no team got the correct answer. That means smart betting strategies came into play. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal wagered 0 and finished the game atop the ranks. That means the top prize rolls over to this week. Brew Rogues also wagered nothing and finished in second place to earn $10 Wheel House cash. Come back out this week and play for the top prize of of $80 Wheelhouse cash and second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
