Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams,

Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse. 47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second place.

There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings. My Personal Favorites led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo was in third place with 39 points. Like I always say though, every team top to bottom still were in playgoing into the second half.

The harder second half questions came out to play. Very few teams got every question correct in one single round. Going into the final question, we had a THREE WAY TIE for first place! Those teams all ahd 67 points and they were: Wheel Deal Sex Appeal, Wino Combo, and Hoppy Endings. Very impressive and something I have yet to see in my trivia hosting days. Last week's victors, Z-Team, were in fourth place with 66 points. The final question saw no team provide the correct answer and many teams losing up to 20 points because of that. That tie for first completely went away as the team right behind them did not wager any points and jumped to the top of our leaderboard. That means for two weeks in a row, Z-Team finished the evening atop the ranks and took home the top prize. My Personal Favorites finished in second place. Come back out this week and play for the top prize of of $40 Wheelhouse cash and second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Entering the final question , Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held the top spot with 69 (nice) points. Wino Combo were right behind them with 67 points. ...
