Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 10 July 2025

Happy new week Trivia faithful,

Time to recap last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse. 42 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $120 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and a second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash.

Our mini theme to the game last Thursday had questions and answers with the word "deer" or "dear" featured somewhere. Teams had a tough first round but settled into things for the next two rounds in the first half. The halftime question was one of the more difficult ones in recent memory. After halftime, the house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal and Z-Team were both tied for first place with 38 points. Wild Wicked Women and Just the Bulls were tied for third place with 34 points.

As normal, the second half gave us harder questions. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were solely in first place with Just the Bulls right behind them in second place entering the final question. After that final, only one team answered correctly and wagered 20 points. That was one of our halftime joint leaders Z-Team. They dropped down to fifth place before the final but their correct answer and high wager got the back atop the leaderboard at the right time to take home that mega large top prize of $120 Wheelhouse cash. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal meaning the top prize this week will be $50 Wheelhouse cash and second place will earn $10 Wheel House cash.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
