Wheel House – Let's Do Trivia - 8 May 2025– BLURB

Greetings all!  Allen here again covering for Adam who was taking some well-deserved time off.

We had a lovely evening with a whopping 13 teams in attendance.  With so many teams in attendance, competition was bound to be fierce, and the first half did not disappoint.  Riot Penguins were our leaders at the half, but Mack Attack and My Personal Favorites were tied for second and only one point off the pace.  Wino Combo, You've Been Framed, Wild Wicked Women and Raven Lunatics were all within six points of the lead.

The second half of play did spread the leaderboard out quite a bit.  Riot Penguins maintained their lead, but second place Mack Attack was now ten points back.  My Personal Favorites and Wild Wicked Women were now 12 and 13 points back respectively for third and fourth place.

The final question produced the usual wild swing of fortunes, most notably Whale We Tried from the 11th spot all the way to 4th with a swing for the fences that connected on the final.  Unfortunately for them, Riot Penguins were also correct on the final question and padded their lead nicely for the win.  Well played all and congrats to the Riot Penguins.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
