Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 3 April 2025

Good new week Trivia peeps!

Let's talk about last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. We had another week of strong attendance with 38 players on 9 teams playing for the top prizes of $40 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash. The weather was a little muggy but at times we got a nice breeze through the big tent. Let's make it through the April showers and get that tent down for our fun summer trivia nights.

The game was... interesting..? Feast or Famine seemed to be how the questions worked for teams. Basically either nearly everyone got the correct answer OR only one or two teams knew the correct answer. After the first half, our point totals were way up there. Even the halftime bonus didn't cause anyone trouble. Six of the nine teams earned all 8 points and the other three teams earned 6 points. After halftime, Brew Rogues was in first place with 42 points and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal  was in second place with 41 points. Wino Combo Senior Edition held third place with 40 points.

Same deal in the second half with most teams either knowing the correct answer or nearly no teams getting the correct answer. Before to the final question, the top two spots remained unchanged with Brew Rogues in first with 78 points and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal in second place with 76 points. Potter Heads found their way to second place with 72 points. In fourth place was Wino Combo Senior Edition with 70 points. This does not happen very often... SEVEN of our NINE teams answered the final question correctly and wagered 20 points. That really left the leaderboard unchanged. Brew Rogues took first place with 98 points and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal earned second place with 96 points. Because one of their team members arrived before 6pm, Brew Rogues took home $50 Wheelhouse Cash. Since the house team finished in second place, top prize this week is $50 Wheelhouse cash and second place will earn $10 Wheel House cash.

Win first place AND at least one member of your team arrives before 6pm, earn an extra $10. Listen to the setlist between 6pm and 6:30pm for an answer to a question in round 1. The Music Bonus original song was played last Thursday night at some point during our match...

    Raven Lunatics were there complete with small pup Millie cheering us on. I think we were tied for 4th?

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
