Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 10 April 2025

Hello Trivia Contestants!

Time to recap last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. A nice group of 32 players on 8 teams played for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash. It was great to be inside the tent because the wind was moving outside. We also welcomed back two teams that had been on a slight hiatus from Trivia at the Wheel. We Love Jade were back after about a month off. After a much longer time away, we welcomed back Beauty Before Brains.

Our game was more fruitful this past week than the week prior. We had multiple socials with all teams getting the answer correct. After halftime, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal was in first place with 43 points. A team joining us at The Wheelhouse for the first time impressed us all and was in second place. They were Cruiser's Companion with 37 points. Wino Combo were in third place with 36 points.

For a 3-point bonus on round 2 question 1, draw an easter egg. (Yes, I'm just realizing I put two of these in last week's blurb.)

The second half was not as easy as the first. I was sure the Music Bonus would be easy for teams to figure out the covering artist, but that caused some trouble as much as our regular questions. Before the final question, the top spot belonged to regular trivia players Wino Combo with 75 points. House team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held second place with 73 points. Raven Lunatics were in third place with 71 points. We got back to normal with the final question being a tougher one for teams. Only two teams answered the final question correctly. One wagered 20 points and the other wagered 19 points. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal took first place with 93 points and in their third week with us, Fifth Street Crew earned second place and $10 Wheelhouse cash with 79 points. With the house team finishing in first place, top prize this week is $90 Wheelhouse cash and second place will earn $10 Wheel House cash.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
