Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 27 March 2025

Welcome back Trivia friends!

Glad to be back after a week off. Let's recap last Thursday night's trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. You all must have missed me because we had a strong turnout of 40 players on 8 teams that were trying to take the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash.

No theme to Thursday evening's questions and answers. We had a tough first half of the game. Very few teams had a perfect score after the first half. After the halftime question, Brew Rogues and Wino Combo were tied for first place with 40 points. In third place was Wheel Deal Sex Appeal with 38 points. There was only a 12 point spread between first and last place. Everyone was still alive for the top places.

The script flipped in the second half. Normally things get more difficult in the second half, but last Thursday things got easier for you all. Getting to the final question, there was a THREE WAY TIE for the top spot with 71 points each. Wino Combo, Wild Wicked Women, and Smartinis were those three teams. In fourth place was Wheel Deal Sex Appeal second place with 69 (nice) points. Two of our teams got the correct answer and wagered 20 points. Those teams were Smartinis and Brew Rogues. Smartinis took first place with 71 points and Brew Rogues earned second place with 88 points. Top prize this week is $40 Wheelhouse cash and second place will earn $10 Wheel House cash.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
