Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 27 February - BLURB

Greetings all!  Allen here again covering for Adam who was off to see the Dropkick Murphy's.  No, I'm not jealous!  <narrators voice, Allen was VERY jealous!>

Once again we had 8 teams fighting for first prize, and once again the top two teams at the end of the first half of play were Riot Penguins in 2nd and the house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal in 1st with a one-point lead.  McCockin and Wino Combo were close on their heels in 3rd and 4th place respectively.

In the second half of play, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal maintained their one-point lead over Riot Penguins in 2nd, while Z Team moved up into 4th place close behind 3rd place McCockin.

The final question was perhaps a bit easier than normal as 3 teams bet the max and got it correct.  Wino Combo was one of those teams and stormed back into contention, but sadly McCockin and the house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were also correct on a 20-point bet.  That means Wheel Deal Sex Appeal wins again.  Congrats to the house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal and well played all.  With a house team win, this means next week we have a rollover first prize of $120.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Entering the final question , Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held the top spot with 69 (nice) points. Wino Combo were right behind them with 67 points. ...

Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
