Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 13 February 2024

Happy Monday off Trivia teams!

This is going to be a quick recap as I am late to writing this and it is Sunday night.

Another super turnout last week at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden, 43 wonderful players on 9 teams were duking it out for the top prize of $80 Wheel House Cash or the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash. 

We had another theme for the evening questions and answers mostly all about disappearing. So with that being said, I am going to try to disappear from writing this blurb.

Normally the house team, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal are in the mix for the top spot, but much like the disappearing theme, they were nowhere to be seen in the top spots all evening. A team that hadn't been around in a long time, My Couch Pulls Out But I Don't, were victors on the evening after jumping from fifth place to first place from answering the final question correctly and finishing the night with 87 points. Brew Rouges were in first place going into the final question, but did not wager any points and finished in second place with 76 points.  Top prize this week is $40 Wheelhouse cash prize up for grabs. Second place will earn $10 Wheel House cash.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
