Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 9 January 2024

Hello chilly Trivia fans!

Let's do a quick recap on our Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. We had a larger attendance than recent Thursdays. Maybe cabin fever needed to break for everyone. We had 36 players on 8 teams playing for the first prize of $120 Wheel House Cash or the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash. The match was an average one when it comes to difficulty of questions. Or maybe you all are just the smartest group of trivia players around. At halftime, Wino Combo held a three point lead over the house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal. Things flipped in the top spots in the second half with the House team taking a four point lead over Wino Combo. The Gallavanters were in third place with 65 points.

Our final question took us down to Florida and thinking about the location North to South of four of their counties. Only one team answered correctly and wagered 20 points. That was the third place team going into the final, The Gallavanters. They earned $120 Wheelhouse Cash. The House team finished insecond place and that means the $10 Wheelhouse cash prize next week will be added to the top prize. It will be $50 WheelHouse Cash. Second place will earn $10 Wheel House cash.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
