Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 23 January 2024

Good day Trivia fans!

Is it still freezing when you're reading this in the new week? Bring on Spring! Time for the weekly review of our Trivia match from last Thursday at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. The cold didn't keep 33 brave players on 8 different teams aiming for the top prize of $80 Wheel House Cash or the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash. The game was a tougher one than usual. Points were dropped all over the place in the first half of the match. Before the halftime question, no team had more than 33 points. After a fun sports themed halftime question, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal and Smartinis were tied for first place. In third place was My Personal Favorites.

The second half of the game was tough again in rounds 4 and 5. Much more good fortune was found for teams in Round 6. The final question was a very tough one that had teams organizing when songs with "I Got" in the title peaked on the Billboard charts. Only ONE team answered correctly. That means clever wagering would determine our victors. Z-Team was the smart ones that got the final correct and wagered 20 points. That moved them from sixth place before the final to second place. Holding first though by not wagering any points was the house team, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal. This Thursday, $120 Wheelhouse cash prize will be up for grabs. Second place will earn $10 Wheel House cash.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
