Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 2 January 2024

Good day Trivia players!

I am writing this on Friday afternoon so I have no clue if you are reading this with a foot or two of snow outside or absolutely nothing. Time will tell.

Let's do our normal quick recap on our Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. There were 28 players on 8 teams playing for the first prize of $80 Wheel House Cash or the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash. There was a slight theme to the game with a few questions dealing with four letter words..... no not those. Let's get those minds out of the gutters. We had a few socials with all teams answering the question correctly and even one do-over from no team providing the correct answer. At halftime, Z-Team held a one point lead over the house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal. In the second half they did what they often do and turned on the jets and went full throttle only dropping points for in the music bonus question.

With a sports themed final question, a few teams answered correctly. But the house team wagered just enough points to not be overtaken. Nolans Army took home second place and $10 Wheel House cash. The house team finishing in first place means the top prize next week will be $120 Wheel House Cash. Second place will earn $10 Wheel House cash.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
