Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 7 November 2024

Happy week Trivia faithful!

After a week off for Halloween, let's review our Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. Our spirt for Halloween didn't stop as our questions had a heavy focus on the spooky holiday. Players and teams were both a little lower than normal with 26 players on 6 teams played for the first prize of $40 Wheel House Cash or the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash.

For a 3-point bonus on round 2 question 1, draw a clock.

The game was competitive throughout all rounds. After the halftime question, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal and My Personal Favorites were tied for first place with 42 points. They both had a small 2 point lead over Wino Combo behind with 40 points. Going into the final question, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal created some space between them and everyone else holding first place with 77 points entering the final question. My Personal Favorites were in second place with 69 points. Only one team answered the difficult final question correctly and they wagered 20 points. That team was My Personal Favorites. They took first place with 89 points to take home $50 Wheelhouse Cash because their team arrived before 6pm. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal came in second place with 57 points and that means the $10 Wheelhouse cash prize rolls over to next next week making the top prize will be $50 Wheelhouse cash next week.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
