Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 14 November 2024

Good day Trivia lovers!

Time for that weekly recap of our Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. We got our players and teams back up to normal numbers with 39 players on 10 teams duked it out for the first prize of $50 Wheel House Cash or the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash.

Things got off to a decent start in the first half. All teams were close in points earned after the halftime question, but none other than returning juggernauts Riot Penguins were in first place with 41 points. They held the slimmest one point lead over the two teams tied for second, Dicken's Cider and My Couch Pulls Out, But I Don't with 40 points. Going into the final question, every team was still in play for the two prizes at top. But after the points were tallied, Riot Penguins held onto their lead by answering the final question correctly and wagering 20 points. Moving all the way up from 9TH PLACE TO 2ND PLACE, My Personal Favorites earned $10 Wheelhouse cash with 71 points. Only one team answered the difficult final question correctly and they wagered 20 points. That team was My Personal Favorites. What a comeback. Top Prize next week is $40 Wheelhouse cash, and second place will get $10 Wheelhouse cash.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
