Friends this is Allen writing to you about another enjoyable evening covering for Adam at the Wheelhouse.  I'm always delighted to reconnect with old friends and also enjoy meeting new ones as well.  This week was a great balance of both!

At the end of the first half, new and old friends were tied for the lead, with Riot Penguins and My Couch Pulls Out But I Don't in first place.  Two points behind in third was the house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal.  Wino Combo, No Brainers and Late to the Party were stalking close to the leaders.

Second half of play saw plenty of team score point in bunches, but Riot Penguins and My Couch Pulls Out But I Don't still tied for the lead, but Wheel Deal Sex Appeal made up some ground and joined them for the lead heading into the final.  Late to the Party and No Brainers remained within striking distance.

On the final two of our teams sat tight on a bet of zero while the other crashed and burned.  Those bets of zero proved correct as no one else answered correctly, setting us up for a tie breaker between Riot Penguins and My Couch Pulls Out But I Don't.

On the tie breaker My Couch Pulls Out But I Don't was closest to the total number of original episodes of Barney Miller and earning a $40 house cash gift card.  Congrats to My Couch Pulls Out But I Don't and well played all.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
