Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 10 OCTOBER 2024

Hello Wheelhouse Trivia Sweethearts!

Tiem to debrief on last week's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. The question writers must have heard the song and wanted candy because we had a theme of sweet treats and other sugar related products. 37 players on 10 teams played for the first prize of $80 Wheel House Cash or the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash.

While the questions were sweet themed, they were harder than a rock. All through the match points were dropped everywhere. Things were competitive in the first half of the game as usual. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal had a strong 11 point lead at halftime with My Couch Pulls Out, But I Don't behind them with 32 points. Cellar Dwellers were not dwelling in the ranking's cellar and in third with 31 points. If the first half was tough, the second half may have made you all dislike me at a new level. In Round 5, only 7 correct answers were given out of all submitted answers. Going into the final question, the field did a good job closing the gap on our leaders from halftime. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal only led by four points entering the final question. After the final question, those wonderful and Wild Wicked Women jumped to first place by wisely wagering zero points and watching everyone around them fall from incorrect answers and 20 point wagers. They won $80 Wheelhouse cash with 57 points, surely the lowest winning score of my tenure. My Couch Pulls Out, But I Don't came in second place with 53 points and earned $10 Wheelhouse cash. Top prize is back to $40 Wheelhouse cash next week.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
