Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 19 September 2024

Good day Wheelhouse Trivia faithful!

How about we debrief on last week's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. 33 players from 9 teams played for the chance to take the top prize of $130 Wheel House Cash or the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash.

The questions were all over the place this week. We had round where barely anyone missed a question and then rounds that only saw two or three teams get anything correct. Halftime saw Wino Combo on top with 46 points while My Couch Pulls Out, But I Don't had second with 44 points. Hoppy Endings were in third place with 43 points. The second half dialed up the pressure with the harder questions. Just like the week prior, the first and second place teams coming out of halftime flipped spots going into the final question. Once again, only one team answered the final question correctly and wagedered 20 points. Hoppy Endings were in 5th place going into the final question, but shot directly to the top of the leaderboard and took home $130 Wheelhouse cash. For a second week in a row, My Couch Pulls Out, But I Don't won the second place prize $10 Wheelhouse cash. The top prize this week will be $40 Wheelhouse cash.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
