Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 12 September 2024

Happy new week Wheelhouse Trivia fans!

Let's go over last Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. 39 players from 10 teams joined us to take the top prize of $90 Wheel House Cash or the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash. My tech issues finally seem to have been solved which made me a much happier trivia host.

For a 3-point bonus on round 2 question 1, draw a bird pooping.

Another difficult week of questions that kept our scores lower all throughout the match. The team in the lead after halftime was Wheel Deal Sex Appeal with 38 points. My Couch Pulls Out, But I Don't held second with 36 points and Brew Rouges were in third place with 35 points. The second half as always presented you with more of a challenge. Our first and second place teams coming out of halftime flipped spots going into the final question. But alas, only one team answered our final question correctly and wagedered 20 points. That was Wheel Deal Sex Appeal and kept the pot on growing. My Couch Pulls Out, But I Don't took the second place prize $10 Wheelhouse cash. The top prize this week will be $130 Wheelhouse cash.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
