Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 29 August 2024

Happy week Trivia players!

HERE COMES THE RAIN AGAIN..... That's it, that's your recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. Before things got a little slippery, 39 players on 10 teams came to The Wheel House to answer questions and win the top prize of $120 Wheel House Cash or the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash. We had issues with technology once again..... I've spoken to the higher ups and have let them know of the issue. We will see if things get resolved. With Murphy and his law in full effect, rain came through in the second half and caused some teams to drop out of the game. Apart from that, the game was a tougher one with a funny mini theme relating to the devil's lettuce. That's right, that Mary Jane was the focus of many questions.

We speed through the second round and final question. Older But Not Wiser answered the final question correctly and wagedered 20 points. They leaped over Wheel Deal Sex Appeal at the top who was in the lead going into the final. They took second place rolling over that ten dollar wheelhouse cash prize to next week's top prize. The pot this week will be $50 Wheelhouse cash. Please come out and win!

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Completely unplanned, the Moon theme fit as last Thursday was our first time of the season with the tent taken down. We had great weather for it. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
