Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 22 August 2024

Hey Trivia people!

Time for the recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. 35 players on 8 teams came to The Wheel House to answer questions and win the top prize of $80 Wheel House Cash or the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash. Sorry for the issues with technology on my end. You all were great getting your responses in and Gmail was being the slow one. Apart from that, the game was great on a cool evening. I was a little too gracious with music hints throughout the match. At halftime, all teams were at most, 10 points off of first place.

But alas, the juggernauts could not be stopped. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held on to the lead they established in the first half to claim the top spot yet again. I was beyond happy to see our old friends Riot Penguins back in action and they were back to land in second place and take home $10 Wheelhouse cash. The house team's victory raises the pot this week to $120 Wheelhouse cash. Please come out and take that bounty home!

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
