Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 August 2024

Hello Trivia faithful!

Time to recap last Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. 43 players on 11 teams joined us to answer questions and win the top prize of $80 Wheelhouse Cash or the second place prize of $10 Wheelhouse cash.

Our match was very competitive and scores were very competitive throughout the game. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were the leaders at halftime with 45 points but Dad Bod Squad were one point off them with 44 points. As always, the heat got turned up with the toughness of questions in the second half. Entering the final question our two leaders at halftime were both tied atop the leaderboard with 81 points. Wild Wicked Women were in third place with 74 points. Only two teams got the correct order of the final question. That would be Dad Bod Squad and 4 Girls 1 Brain cell. Dad Bod Squad solidified first place all by themselves with 101 points, but we had a TIE for second place between Wild Wicked Women and 4 Girls 1 Brian cell. After the tiebreaker, 4 Girls 1 Brain cell won the second place prize.

For a 3-point bonus on round 2 question 1, draw the French flag.

Win first place AND at least one member of your team arrives before 6pm, earn an extra $10. Listen to the setlist between 6pm and 6:30pm for an answer to a question in round 1. Also this week's cover song was played in the playlist from last week.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
