Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 27 June 2024

Hey Trivia favorites!

Time for that weekly recap of last Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. 26 players on 7 teams were aiming to take home that top prize of $80 Wheelhouse Cash and a second place prize of $10 Wheelhouse cash.

Before we get to the recap, PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT.... no Let's Do Trivia next week on Thursday July 4th. We will be back to our regular game on Thursday July 11th.

For a 3-point bonus on July 11th on round 2 question 1, draw some fireworks.

Teams were up and down and all over the place with this week's questions throughout the game. The leaders at halftime were tied for first place, that was Smartinis and MC DEEEEALITES with 43 points and behind them in third place was The Rogues with 39 points. As always, we had tougher questions in the second half. Going into the final MC DEEEEALITES pulled away with 80 points from now second place team the Smartinis with 72 points. But gosh darnit, wouldn't you guess that Wheel Deal Sex Appeal got the question correct and the only team to wager 20 points to move into first place with 87 points. MC DEEEEALITES wagered nothing and 80 points was good for second place. The house team coming in first place means our top prize July 11th will be $120 Wheelhouse cash.

Win first place AND at least one member of your team arrives before 6pm, earn an extra $10. Listen to the setlist between 6pm and 6:30pm for an answer to a question in round 1. Also this week's cover song was played in the playlist from last week.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
