Time for that weekly recap of last Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. We were back to the good old days with the high number of players and teams. 50 players on 12 teams played for a top prize of $90 Wheelhouse Cash, a second place prize of $25 Wheelhouse cash, and a third place prize of $10 Wheelhouse cash!

Most teams had strong showings in the first half. Most every team was still within striking distance of first place after halftime. Coming out of the halftime bonus, Hoppy Endings led with 42 points and Peasant Army and The Rogues were tied for second place with 41 points. As we've come accustomed to, the second half was a more  tough endeavor than the first. Going into the final Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held first place with 74 points and Hoppy Endings were right on their tail with 73 points. The final question was of medium difficulty with some teams answering correctly and wagering 20 points. Smartinis took first place with 90 points, Hoppy Endings came in second with 71 points, and Kona Big Wave finished in third place with 63 points.

For a 3-point bonus next week on round 2 question 1, draw the wind.

Win first place AND at least one member of your team arrives before 6pm, earn an extra $10. Listen to the setlist between 6pm and 6:30pm for an answer to a question in round 1. Also this week's cover song was played in the playlist from last week.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
