Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 30 May 2024

Hello all Trivia fans!

Adam here to bring you up to speed on last Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. While we had a decent turnout of participants, most were new faces or old faces that hadn't been seen in a while. Everyone is excited to have teams back after a hiatus. 34 players on 7 teams played for a top prize of $40 Wheelhouse Cash and second place prize of $10 Wheelhouse cash!

Teams had a much more difficult time than normal with no team cracking the 40 point mark at halftime. We thought This Was Speed Dating were in first place with 37 points and Kait's Crew had the second spot with 34 points. The questions have gotten tougher and tougher as we once again had one of our lowest scoring matches in a long time. Late To The Party were the only team to answer the final question accurately. That, and a 20 point wager, sent them to the top of the leaderboard. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal wagered 0 points and that kept them in second place with 67th points. Once again, it was great to see a team that hasn't been with us for a while join us again and take home the top prize. Since the house team finished in second place, The top prize next week will be $50 Wheelhouse cash!

Win first place AND at least one member of your team arrives before 6pm, earn an extra $10. Listen to the setlist between 6pm and 6:30pm for an answer to a question in round 1. Also this week's cover song was played in the playlist from last week.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
