Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 10 May 2024

Good day Trivia faithful!

Adam coming to you with an update on last Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. 29 players on 6 teams played for a top prize of $160 Wheelhouse Cash and second place prize of $10 Wheelhouse cash! That top prize was available to the second place team if the house team finished in first place.

For a 3-point bonus next week on round 2 question 1, draw what you're drinking.

Our first half was kind of difficult for most teams as was the halftime bonus. Wild Wicked Women were in first place with 42 points with Wino Combo behind them with 32 points. The second half of the match was just as hard as the fist. We actually had one of our lowest scoring matches that we had seen in a long time. Going into the final question Wheel Deal Sex Appeal moved to top spot with 69 points and Wild Wicked Women right behind them with 68 points. The final bonus was just as difficult as the rest of the game and absolutely no teams came up with the correct answer order. The top teams didn't wager any points. That meant Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were the top place finishers, but Wild Wicked Women took home the top prize.

Win first place AND at least one member of your team arrives before 6pm, earn an extra $10. Listen to the setlist between 6pm and 6:30pm for an answer to a question in round 1. Also this week's cover song was played in the playlist from last week.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
