Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 10 May 2024

Hello Trivia friends!

Adam here finally back in the Quiz Master chair to give you an update on last Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. 23 players on 6 teams played for a top prize of $120 Wheelhouse Cash and second place prize of $10 Wheelhouse cash! That top prize is large due to the house team coming in first place over the last two weeks. A new team joined us for a first stab at Let's Do Trivia. That team happily referred to themselves as MILFS

This first half of the match was pretty good for most teams and the half time bonus still also helped teams notch points. Mack Attack were in first place with 42 points with Wheel Deal Sex Appeal right on their tails with 41 points. The second half of the match turned up the heat on all the teams. In fact, in the fourth round, only Wild Wicked Women got all questions correct. Teams moved around the leaderboard after the second half was completed. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held the top spot with Wild Wicked Women and MILFS climbed up to sit in second and third place respectively. The final bonus was a tough one and only two teams came up with the correct order but only one of those two teams wagered any points. That team was Wheel Deal Sex Appeal. 

Once again, The house team finished in the top spot. You know what that means. Next week the top prize will be $160 Wheelhouse Cash. Now, at that level of prize, if the house team finishes in first place again, the team that finishes in second place will take home the $160 Wheelhouse cash prize. All the more reason to come out and join us this Thursday.

Win first place AND at least one member of your team arrives before 6pm, earn an extra $10. We are back to doing my normal song title or artist answer in the setlist between 6pm and 6:30pm being an answer to a question in round 1. Also this week's cover song was played in the playlist from last week.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
