Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 4 April 2024

Hello Trivia lovers,

Why not review last Thursday at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden? Thursday night, we saw the highest number of participants in months with 43 players on 10 teams working for a top prize of $40 Wheelhouse Cash and second place prize of $10 Wheelhouse cash.

Not our typical match with the first half tougher than the second. Also out of the ordinary, the halftime question really stumped most teams. Going into the second half, MC DEEALITE and Caps Rule, Pens Suck were tied for first place with 42 points.  MC DEEALITE held that lead all through to the final question with 81 points. More teams got the final question correct than in the weeks prior. Even though a good amount of teams were on top of their game, MC DEEALITEled wire to wire and took home $50 Wheelhouse Cash for finishing in first place and having a team member arrive prior to 6pm. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal  got back onto the podium finishing in second place. That means the $10 Wheelhouse cash prize will be added to our top prize next week.

For a 3-point bonus next week on round 2 question 1, draw the logo of whoever wins the Men's OR Women's NCAA tournament.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
