Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 7 March 2024

Hello Trivia players,

It's time for your weekly update from this previous Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. We had a much smaller than normal set of teams and players under the tent. 32 players on 8 teams played for the top prize of $50 Wheelhouse Cash and second place prize of $10 Wheelhouse cash.

Most teams did well in the first half save for a few tough questions in Round 2. You young mystery readers were able to deduce which of the four book titles I gave you for the halftime question were either Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys books. The second half gave most teams a huge struggle with points being dropped everywhere. Going into the final question, our highest point total was 74 points from Wino Combo Senior Edition (It was the kids holding them back!). For an odd second week in a row, every team got the final question incorrect except for one team that got it correct and wagered 20 points to catapult them to the top of the leaderboard. The two person team of Noland's Army were the champions of the night. Every other team moved down together in the rankings. Wino Combo Senior Edition wagered 0 points and finished in second place.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
