Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 29 February 2024

Good day Trivia faithful,

Adam giving you an update on last Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. 40 players on 8 teams played for the top prize of $80 Wheelhouse Cash and second place prize of $10 Wheelhouse cash.

The first half was more difficult for teams than the second half. Every team got the final question incorrect and wagedered 20 points except for one team that got it correct and wagered 20 points to launch to the top of the leaderboard. The two man team of Dickens Cider actually almost didn't register to play and was just going to hang out at the bar and drink. Good thing they didn't because they were the victors of the evening. Every other team moved down together in the rankings. The house team, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were on top going into the final and slid down to second place. That means the second place prize of $10 Wheelhouse Cash will roll into this week's top prize. $50 Wheelhouse Cash up for play this week.

As previously mentioned, the top prize this Thursday will be $50 WheelHouse cash. Win first place AND at least one member of your team arrives before 6pm, earn an extra $10. Listen for a song title or artist answer in the setlist between 6pm and 6:30pm.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
