Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 14 March 2024

Good day Trivia nuts,

Adam coming to you from a pot of gold so you can have that weekly update from this previous Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. 29 players on 8 teams were in it for a top prize of $40 Wheelhouse Cash and second place prize of $10 Wheelhouse cash.

For a 3-point bonus next week on round 2 question 1, draw your favorite nut (yes I went there).

The first half was feast or famine for a lot of teams. Rounds 1 and 3 had questions that many teams dropped points on. Meanwhile every team answered every question correctly in Round 2. TV pets were what you all tried to know during the halftime bonus question. Most teams at least got three or all four correct. In the second half, we started to see a theme develop. Many questions had to do with nuts. As is typical, the second half was more difficult. Going into the final question, our highest point total was 76 points from I Saw Princess Kat in QUIZMO's Basement. The final question was extremely tough asking teams to order "nutty" brands in the order of release to the public from earliest to latest. Only three teams got the correct order BUT only ONE team wageder points on that correct answer. MC DEEEAlites put 20 points on the line and it paid off. eThey were the winners of the $40 Wheelhouse Cash top prize plu the additional $10 for having a team member arrive before 6pm. I Saw Princess Kat in QUIZMO's Basement were our second place finishers.

Top prize this Thursday will be $40 WheelHouse cash. Win first place AND at least one member of your team arrives before 6pm, earn an extra $10. Listen for a song title or artist answer in the setlist between 6pm and 6:30pm.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
