Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 8 February 2024

Hi there Trivia Faithful,

Adam here giving you an update on the previous week's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. The high turnout continued with 49 players on 11 teams playing for the top prize of $40 Wheelhouse Cash.

For a 3-point bonus next week on round 2 question 1, draw your favorite Super Bowl party food.

We had a rare night with much more parity amongst the teams and their scores. Teams that normally dominate were dealt some humble pie and some teams performed better than in weeks past. Going into the final question, nearly every team was in play for the top prize. We did have a slight hiccup with the website app we use to submit answers. I apologize for that and thank you for the cooperation. I reported the problem to our Trivia Obi Wan Allen and hopefully he can get to the bottom of the issue before this Thursday. Newer regulars, MC Deelights were in first place going into the final, answered correctly, and wagered the full 20 points to hold onto their first place spot at the end of the match. One of their teammates arrived before 6pm and thus gained an extra $10 WheelHouse cash to the top prize. Another team that has started to call the WheelHouse their trivia home, Nolan's Army, took second place.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
