Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 15 February 2024

Good whatever time you're reading this Trivia players,

Adam coming at you to speak about last Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. We had a slight dip in participants, but in no way impacted the level of fun to be had. 38 players on 8 teams duked it out for the top prize of $40 Wheelhouse Cash and the second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash.

Teams came to win and played strong all night. Actually, the first half of the match, normally the easier of the two, proved to be slightly more difficult than imagined. All teams started to perform much better at the half-time bonus with no team earning less than 6 points. Before the final question, absolutely every team was in play for the top prize. Our online app issues appeared to resolve themselves and worked perfectly for submitting answers and wagers for the final question. Technology, amiright. Just like last week, MC DEEEAlights were in first place going into the final, however this time, they did not answer the final question correctly and dropped a few spots off of the top. Quizmos [CENSORED] Glory jumped from third place to first place to take the top prize. One of their teammates arrived before 6pm and thus gained an extra $10 WheelHouse cash to the top prize.
Your Mom, Dear Watson was dead last going into the final and with a correct answer and 20 point wager made the biggest jump of the evening to finish second and take home $10 Wheelhouse Cash.

Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 15 May 2025

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Completely unplanned, the Moon theme fit as last Thursday was our first time of the season with the tent taken down. We had great weather for it. The crowd was light-ish with 27 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $40 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Entering the final question , Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held the top spot with 69 (nice) points. Wino Combo were right behind them with 67 points. ...
