Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 February 2024

Hi there Trivia Faithful,

Adam coming to talk to you about last week's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. Another great turnout for trivia with 54 players on 12 teams trying to flex their brains for the top prize of $80 Wheelhouse Cash. Like the week previously, attendance greater than 50 meant we had a $25 WheelHouse cash prize for second place. The third place team could grab home $10 Wheelhouse cash.

Everyone was having a blast and enjoying themselves. Even in the tougher second half, most teams were at least answering two questions correctly per round. But wire-to-wire, one team shone brighter than all others. Like their football team did in the middle of the week to my football team, Liverpool Won... QUIZMO Didn't dominated and never dipped out of first place. (They even got the On-Time Bonus). They took first place in the evening and since a few members of their team arrived before 6pm, they earned that extra $10 addition to bring their top prize to $90 Wheelhouse cash.  Nolan's Army went home with the $25 WheelHouse cash prize. Late to the Party finished in third place.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
