Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 26 January 2024

Hello there Trivia Faithful,

Adam here to bring you up to speed on last week's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden. Man, did you all turn out and get participation numbers up there. We had 55 players divided up between 13 teams working for the top prize of $40 Wheelhouse Cash. Because of attendance greater than 50, we had a $25 WheelHouse cash prize for second place. Third place team could take took home $10 Wheelhouse cash.

The volume of everyone under the tent clearly indicated you all were having a fun time answering some questions and taking in libations. Some questions were tougher than others, particularly in the second half. We ended the night on a sweet note trying to get the correct order of when some of our favorite brands of candy were first introduced. The tough questions couldn't keep the house team, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal, down as they took first place in the evening and rolling that top prize over to next week's booty. Late to the Party  went home with the $25 WheelHouse cash prize. And after a short tie breaker, newer team Giant Nerds earned second place.

Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 15 May 2025

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Completely unplanned, the Moon theme fit as last Thursday was our first time of the season with the tent taken down. We had great weather for it. The crowd was light-ish with 27 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $40 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Entering the final question , Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held the top spot with 69 (nice) points. Wino Combo were right behind them with 67 points. ...
