Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 29 December 2023

Good day Trivia Faithful, 

Adam coming to you to give you a recap of our last Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheel House for 2023. That's right, this past Thursday we played our last match of the year and it was a smaller affair than usual. We had 33 players on eight teams taking aim for the top prize of $40 Wheel House cash.

Nothing really in the way of a theme to the questions. We had a low scoring first half of the match. The halftime question did not help much either. Coming out of the first half Wheel Deal Sex Appeal and Hoppy Endings were tied first place with 37 points each. Deez Nuts sat alone in third place with 34 points.

For a 3-point bonus next week on round 2 question 1, draw the ball dropping on New Years Eve......🫣

The second half was no cake walk either. As we came to the final question, Wheel Deal Sex Appeal and QUIZMO the Christmas Elf Hides Away For Another Year were tied with 71 points each. In third place was As Is Tradition with 66 points.

Just like the week prior, a good number of teams answered the final question correctly. Six of the eight teams provided the correct order to the final question. A few sadly did not wager any points. Wheel Deal Sex Appeal answered correctly and wagered 20 points to finish first with 91 points. Dennitizzi finished second with 84 points. The house team winning of course means next week our top prize will be $80 Wheel House Cash. Second place will earn you $10 Wheel House Cash.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
