Wheel House Beer Garden – Let's Do Trivia - 9 November 2023 – BLURB

Hello all, Allen writing to you today after covering for Adam as he enjoyed an evening out with friends.  While he was enjoying that, I too was enjoying an evening with friends, it was great seeing all of you at the Wheel House this week.

At the end of the first half Jeopardy Losers Club and As It Tradition were tied for the lead after having nearly perfect first half scores while G Unit was only one point off the pace.

Heading into the final, As Is Tradition poured on the points in the second half to take a 5-point lead over second place We Thought This Was Speed Dating.

Every team bet on the final, with most betting the 20-point max.  Also, every team missed the final question.  This led to only one change in the final standings.  G Unit moved up to second place as they were the one team that did not bet the maximum 20 points.

Congratulations to As Is Tradition for the win and well played all.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
