Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 26 October 2023

Greetings and salutations Trivia teams!

Adam coming to you from behind a closed front door with the porch light out to treat you on how last Thursday's trivia match played out. Yes Paul, I was wrong again. We played another match outdoors at the Wheelhouse Beer Garden with no tent. After last week's larger crowd, we came back to a more normal level of teams with 40 players on 9 teams begging for the top prize of $50 Wheel House gift certificate  and $10 second place certificate.

The first half provided more of a challenge than normal to our teams, but we did see many teams recover to provide the correct answer to all four halftime bonus questions. Forever intertwined in battle, Quoth the QUIZMO, "I Don't Write The Questions" and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for first place with 41 points and Candy Kornies were second with 39 points.

After a tough second half, Quoth the QUIZMO, "I Don't Write The Questions" was in the lead with 75 points and Candy Kornies were close behind with 73 points. Only Your Mom, Dear Watson answered the final question in the correct order and wagered 20 points which Blasted them in first place to take home the top prize. G-Unit finished second and earned the $10 prize.

Teams that arrive before 6pm are able to receive an extra $10 added to the top prize if they end the game in first place. Remember to find that answer to a first round question in either a song title or artist that is played on the playlist between 6:00 and 6:30. (It will be an answer to any one or the questions in round one)

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
