Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 7 September 2023

Good day everyone!

Adam here coming to you from a storm shelter to let you know how this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheel House Beer Garden went.

TRIVIA AND A LIGHT SHOW! What more could anyone want? The lightning to the southeast of us made the entertainment a little more spectacular until the high winds forced us inside right around the music bonus question.

Another week with no theme to our match. This was one of the lowest scoring games I've hosted, but that's ok. We all can handle a little challenge every now and again. It was a lower turnout than normal with 32 players on 7 teams looking to catch the top prize of $90 Wheel House gift certificate and $10 second place certificate.

After a difficult first half, 40 points to QUIZMO Admits His Vegas Rain Dance May HAve Been A Bit Much  were in first place and with 34 points, Your Mom Dear Watson held second place.

Our final question had teams rank the number of states Germany, India, and Nigeria are divided into. No team got the correct order of Nigeria, India, and Germany. Smart betting of a low point value earned Your Mom Dear Watson 60 points and that was enough to finish the game in first place. Congrat Sherlock!

For a bonus 3 points on Round 2 Question 1, ydraw me a parrot. RIP Jimmy

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
