Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 August 2023

Hello Trivia Faithful!

Adam coming to you back from vacation (again) to fill you in on this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheel House Beer Garden.

The warm and windy weather made for a great night out. 8 teams with 43 players had their sights set on the top prize of a $40 Wheel House gift certificate for first place and $10 second place certificate.

Questions were amazingly easy during Rounds 1, 2, and 3. Every team had at least 35 points after halftime. At the half, Dickens Cider and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for the lead with 42 points. Wild Wicked Women and QUIZMO Wants More Cowbell were tied for third place at 40 points. Clearly a close game. 

The second half was far more difficult than the first half. All teams still had a chance for first place no matter where they were in the standings.

For a bonus 3 points on Round 2 question 1, draw what all the kids look like right now with about to go back to school.

Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held off all challengers and took first place. Dickens Cider finished in second place with 66 points. The top prize of $40 Wheel House cash rolls over to next week.

As you know, the house team finishing in first place means the top prize on Thursday will be a $80 Wheel House gift certificate! Second place will earn a $10 Wheel House gift certificate.

Teams that arrive before 6pm are able to receive an extra $10 added to the top prize if they end the game in first place.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
