Wheel House – Let's Do Trivia - 6 April 2023

Happy Monday!


 Adam coming your way to give you a recap of last week's game of Let's Do Trivia  at the Wheel House Beer Garden. I was informed it was the biggest night of trivia ever at the Wheel House. We had 38 players on 10 teams. We were playing for the top prize of a $90 Wheel House gift Certificate for first place and a $10 gift certificate for second place.

 

We were all witness to one of the craziest moments I have ever seen at any trivia game I have played or hosted. For the true/false asking if Naomi Osaka was born in Osaka Japan, every team guessed False. The answer was in fact true.


The game was a close one all throughout the regular rounds with Wheel Deal Sex Appeal and Quizmos Easter Egg Roll Shame tied with 74 points heading into the final question. Quizmos answered the question correctly, betting 20 points (as did Wino Combo, You're Mom Dear Wtason, and Low Expectations), but Wheel Deal Sex Appeal bet 0 points. That Gave Quizmos Easter Egg Roll Shame the top prize of the evening.


Four a bonus three points, in round 2 question 1, draw me your favorite Wild Wicked Women.

 

Come out with your game face on this coming week because this coming Thursday the top prize will be $40 Wheel House Cash.

Remember, teams that have at least one member arrive prior to 6pm win an extra $10 if they take first prize. I also told people a few music based hints in the playlist this week and next. Before the match starts between 6:00 pm and 6:30pm, one of the song titles or artists will be an answer to a question during the regular game rounds. Also in this past Thursday's playlist, I played the original artist and song for this week's round 6 question 1 Impossible Trivia music bonus cover song. A little more incentive to pay attention and come out to join us every week....😉

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
