Wheel House – Let's Do Trivia - 19 January 2023 – BLURB

Show time!  Top prize was $160 if only someone other than the house team can win it.  Well, let's see what happened in our game.

The Crystal METHodist Church Group were high as a kite with a lead at half time.  The I's Have It were having none of that however, only 2-points off the pace and they were ready to try to move up in the second half. 

At the end of the second half of play, The Crystal METHodist Church Group were still in the lead, a full seven points ahead of Wild Wicked Women.

The final question saw some odd betting strategies and many teams answering correctly.  This resulted in a two-way tie for second between Scotty and His Hotties and the Wild Wicked Women.  After deliberations about the length in second of an EP no one had heard of, Scotty and His Hotties proved the more knowledgeable (or lucky!) and won the tie breaker.  With the house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal pulling off a late upset to take first, Scotty and His Hotties won $120 on the evening.  Well played all, and congrats to Scotty and His Hotties.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
