Wheel House – Let's Do Trivia - 05 January 2023 – BLURB

Another big game this last week, with 10 teams in attendance, all vying for the $120 first prize. 

The first half of play was exceptionally tight, with all teams within eight points from the top, namely Wild Wicked Women tied with newcomers Pints and Pups, to bottom.

The second half of play saw the teams start to separate, with house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal moving from firth and into the lead, one point clear of Riot Penguins.

More than half the teams were able to cash in on the final question but betting strategy was key, with Riot Penguins able to move into a tie with Wheel Deal Sex Appeal on the final question.  The tie breaker was a tough one, but house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal nearly nailed it, taking the win.  Due to this, next week's first prize is $160, however, if the house team wins, only the usual first prize of $40 will rollover.  The other $120 will pay out to second place.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
