Wheel House – Let's Do Trivia - 05 January 2023 – BLURB

Welcome to 2023, and a Happy New Year to all.  It was great seeing the large turnout we had this week, especially seeing the new teams we had in attendance.

With so many teams this week, competition was sure to be fierce, but the house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal managed the first half just fine.  Heading into halftime hey held a 4-point lead over Oh My God, I Just Realized Tomorrow is Epiphany!

Wheel Deal Sex Appeal poured on the heat in the second half, increasing their lead to 13 points over second place Oh My God, I Just Realized Tomorrow is Epiphany!  Wino Combo ft. Dewey was another 5 points back in third place.

The final question was a tough one, with only two teams answering correctly.  The Green Mile was one of those teams, moving from 5th all the way up to 2nd place.  The house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal also answered correctly, padding their lead and adding another $40 to the first place pot.  Next week first prize will be $120.  Grab that one friend that knows all about movies, or sports, or any other trivia category you need help with and come out for the increased first prize.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But if you were in attendance, you know I'm referring to our big theme revolving around our Lunar friend. That's right, many questions dealing with the Moon (and some people with the surname Moon) were giving players a run for their money. Completely unplanned, the Moon theme fit as last Thursday was our first time of the season with the tent taken down. We had great weather for it. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points. Followed as closely as you can get was  Why So Serious with 41 points. Wino Combo  was in third place with 39 points.
