The Wheelhouse – Let's Do Trivia - 01 December 2022 – BLURB

Greetings all and welcome back from the Thanksgiving week off.  Glad to see all of you back safe and sound, but especially glad to see Wild Wicked Women after an extended absence from them.  They were on point tonight (except for the trivia part) and having a great time.

Also on point, as usual, were Riot Penguins and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal.  The Penguins had a one-point lead at the half over house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal while third place Rice Crispy Treats on Allen were six points off the pace.

First through third were unchanged at the end of the second half, but Riot Penguins increased their lead over Wheel Deal Sex Appeal to three, while Rice Crispy Treats on Allen were a full 16 points out of first.

With such a disparity in points this week heading into the final teams were bound to bet the maximum in order to attempt a comeback.  This held true, and several teams were correct on the final.  Unfortunately for the teams wishing for a come from behind win, Riot Penguins were one of those teams that bet the maximum on a correct bet.  This cemented their win.  Congrats to the Riot Penguins and well played all.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Entering the final question , Wheel Deal Sex Appeal held the top spot with 69 (nice) points. Wino Combo were right behind them with 67 points. ...

Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
