THE WHEELHOUSE - Let's Do Trivia - 10 November 2022- BLURB

Excitement was high as first prize was rolled all the way up to $160 thanks to the house team, with a guaranteed prize of at least $120 to second place if the house team were to win again.

The house team Wheel Deal Sex Appeal had the hot hand in the first half, holding a 6-point lead over Sweet and Salty Nuts.  Many other teams were within 10 points at the half, but Wheel Deal Sex Appeal showed no signs of letting up in the second half.  They held a commanding 13 point lead over two teams tied for second heading into the final. 

Several teams bet the maximum of twenty on the final, and most of them connected for a big gain.  Wheel Deal Sex Appeal was one of those teams, taking the win.  However, as they are the house team, they are ineligible to retain the prize.  The $40 that would have gone to the winning team will roll over to next week, and the other $120 was awarded to second place.  In this case, Hello My Name is Allen and I Identify as a Sharp Cheddar was that team, and they walk away with a cool $120.

Happy new week trivia players, Have you taken a look in the night's sky recently? How's that Moon looking? If you didn't join us last week at the Wheelhouse for Let's do Trivia, you probably have no idea what I am talking about. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 1 May 2025

Hello trivia brothers and sisters ! Let's go through our weekly recap of this past Thursday's Let's Do Trivia match at The Wheelhouse Beer Garden . It was a great crowd of 37 players on 10 teams playing for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and our second place prize of $10 Wheel House cash . We had a big theme to most of the questions. We were asking about things to do with siblings, brothers, and sisters. Just like the previous week, this match saw lower scoring than normal in our first half of the game. Coming out of halftime, Raven Lunatics held first place with 35 points.   Wino Combo and Wheel Deal Sex Appeal were tied for second place with 34 points. Dare I say the second half got slightly easier? Points were still dropped but I believe every team got at least a 6 pointer correct in each round. Wheel House - Let's Do Trivia - 17 July 2025

Good day week Trivia teams, Let's do a quick look back to last Thursday night's Let's Do Trivia match at the Wheelhouse.  47 players on 9 teams joined us to beat the heat and beat other teams for the top prizes of $50 Wheelhouse Cash for first place and $10 Wheel House cash for second  place. There wasn't a larger theme throughout the match, but some questions did have an Australian touch to them. There were also a few Bee Gees related questions, even though I would contend they are not Australian and only spent a part of their career down under.  As is usual, most teams had a successful first half of the match. After our Bee Gees halftime question, we had many point totals that were close together in our rankings.  My Personal Favorites  led with 42 points.
